Scripture Foundation: "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize." (1CORINTHIANS 9:24-27)

MEN'S SOFTBALL
Every Spring LFCN Softball ministry welcomes our men to participate in Church league softball. In 2007 the demand for softball increased to the point of creating a second team.
Every September LFCN travels to Cincinnati OH to participate in the Nazarene National Softball Tournament. Every year over 80 teams from around the country meet to participate in the N.N.S.T. In 2005 LFCN finished sixth and in 2006 finished fourth.
After finishing 4th out of 85 teams
in last years Nazarene National Tournament our Men’s Softball
Ministry is preparing for this year's tournament by participating in
the Campbell County Church League. This year LFCN entered two teams
and both teams are doing exceptionally well.
